Horizon Web Admin Screen: Screen 2 Customisation

1. This box will allow you to load files from your local machine into the Horizon Web images folder. You can load images as shown or also Documents or Internal Files which you can link to on your website

2. This box governs how contract items are displayed on the site, you could rename contract item to your special price for example

3. This box governs how discount items (like matrix priced items) are displayed on the site, you could rename discount item to Price reduced! for example

4. User Defined Pages allows you to add your own pages to the website, more on this below

5. This section governs the site layout, a separate lesson will go into these options in more detail however you can use this section to change the look and feel of the site and its colour scheme

6. These 3 menu options govern the look and feel of the site, more on these below

 

Add a user defined page

Click on Add New

1. For the image name you should enter css and the name of the page so in this case its cssnewpage, other examples would be csscontactus, cssfindus and so on

2. Insert the name of the page this will be the name of the page in the menu

3. Enter in the page details in the editor

4. This is the default (WYSISYG) editor (WYSISYS = what you see is what you get

5. This is the HTML editor option, you should only use this if you are comfortable with HTML or are copying in HMTL code from another site like google maps

6. This is the preview screen to show you what the page will look like

7. Press OK to save

Menu Options (Adding an Item)

To add in item to a menu

1. Click on the Dropdown Box

2. Select the item you wish to add

3. Press Add to add it to the menu

Menu Options (Removing an Item)

To Remove an Item from a Menu

1. Highlight the item

2. Select Remove
