Serial Numbered Items, Setup, Booking In and Delivering Out

1. Tick the Serialized Tick Box to Indicate that you want to track serial numbers on this item

2. Select Notes

3. Select Line Notes.

4. Enter in a message such as the one displayed to inform staff that the item is serialized and they should select a serial number when booking in or delivering out the item

Book in the Purchase Order as Normal

1. Select Receive all (assuming all have come into stock)

2. Select Book in

Next we need to open the goods inwards note (PGIN)

1. Select Delivery Status

2. Double Click on the PGIN

To Enter the Serial Numbers in

1. Select Serial No's

2. Type in Serial Number or Scan in using barcode reader

3. Select Add to add to the Serial Number list

4. Serial Number added are displayed here

Optional
5. To remove an incorrectly entered serial number, Highlight the Serial Number and select Remove

You can manually deliver the items using the method outlined below however it is most likely these will be delivered via the Order Process function

To Manually Deliver

1. Select Allocate
2. Select Deliver

To Automatically Deliver

1. Select Delivery Status to find the Delivery note

2. Double Click on the delivery note to open it

To assign a serial number(s) to a delivered line

1. Select Serial Numbers

2. Select the Serial Number

3. Select Assign

Repeat Steps 2 & 3 for multiple items

Optional Step

To remove incorrect serial number

1. Select Serial Number

2. Select Remove

1. Select Serial No's to Show Serial Number activity

2. Tick Include Previously Assigned Serials to show historical activity

3. Left Hand Box will show the Serial Number & Qty in Stock

4. Right Hand Box will Show Document & Traders that the item were booked in from and booked out too
