How to use the shopping option in processing to raise purchase orders
1. Click on Processing
2. Click on Shopping
3. Click on whichever option - Orders if you only want to shop for orders on the system
4. The dates of the sales orders that you want to create the purchase orders from (Step 2)
5. Depending on the type of Sales orders that have been created you may need to tick the boxes here (Step 3)
6. Press the Search button
Once the search screen comes up
1. Press the shop for selected button
2. Press the condense button.
3. Once you click onto a product code the stock information appears on the right hand side of the screen, in this instance I am on the second code(tippex) it is highlighted in green due to the fact that there is a purchase order for this item but it isn't link to a sales order, so it is up to whomever is doing the ordering to know if that purchase order is for stock and if it can be use to fill the sales order in question, if so zero the qty required column, if not leave the qty required as is.
4. Hit the required for button to see who has ordered the item in question if unsure as to whether or not it is needed.
5. Once happy that you have shopped for everything hit the raise orders button.
